Please add my cousin's wife to your prayer list

After living through the aftermath of Rita in September, my Dcousin and his wife now face something even more distressing. They lost all their clothing due to mildew and mold when a tree fell through their roof during Rita. Now she has been diagnosed with cancer after thinking she had an abcessed tooth. There was no abcess, but the dentist did a biopsy. Very bad news. She will be going to MD Anderson for treatment. I would not ask for prayers and good thoughts except that somehow I feel they have been picked for more than most can handle.

And we all know the power of the group prayer from this group.

Thanks and Hugs, Susan

My thoughts and prayers are going out for your cousin's wife, as well as for your cousin. He will need comfort and peace of mind while watching his wife go through all of this. Such a shame at anytime, but most especially after all they have already been through. :o/

- St Jude is already working overtime for me in the last couple of months... I'm sure he won't mind another prayer being added to my list.

This is the latest from my aunt yesterday:

talked to DS about 3: he was taking her home and he said the news was as bad as it could be. Last week her abscessed tooth turned out to be invasive carcinoma in the jaw, so these nodules that were as large as golf balls on her head and back that were removed today, evidently show more of the same thing.

Good thoughts and good wishes coming from me, too. It is really distressing at present, so many people are either being diagnosed with major illnesses, or illnesses which should be minor are escalating into something major. I think it is a pure reaction to the stresses and strains so many have suffered.

Please, everyone, keep on thinking of/praying for all of us in the Gulf South.
