i used to have a water cat. couldn't run a bath with the door open or, no matter where he was in the house sleeping, Tiki would be in the tub. when my parents moved to a new house with a no-so-little brook next to the house, Tiki was in heaven! he was in the brook all the time, swimming. figures he was long haired too... :) lee< Tiki also liked rides in my bicycle basket>

Shelagh,

Your shawl is beautiful, and so very delicate. It will be gorgeous when finished.

Question for you: I was in my LYS recently and saw they were holding a class for a knit Potato Chip Scarf with a bead knit cast-off. Have you or anyone on the group seen a pattern for a scarf done this way?

thanks, Linda D. in B.C., Canada

Tiki is the name of my calico! She isn't of the water-loving mind, though. Or the nail trimming, or the loving on anyone but me. But WOW does she ever love all over me!

I wasn't even in the market for a cat when I walked past the window of adoptees at Petsmart (all are from local animal shelters). She just seemed to NEED me, and I've loved her ever since. When I adopted her, she was a year old and had been in the shelter for at least 3 months. Best way to have a cat find you, IMHO.
