Every good wish re your degree course - I think you have a busy time ahead and knitting will be a relaxation for you. Take care. :-)

I'm here! Spring is here and we're finding more reasons to stay outside. It's such a small window of opportunity before the unbearable heat sets in.

I'm cuddling grandbabies in Sacramento CA. They are really cute, and though they haven't seen us before, they talk on the phone and have seen pix, so they took to us right away.

i was in NY for a wedding (it was funny!). i'm back now & almost halfway through an easy shawl in babyloop mohair hand dyed by my 7.5 year old :) it's yellow, spring green, sky blue & violet(with bits of brown at some of the color overlaps). so far there's been no weird pooling effects either. he dyed two 1200+ yard skeins & i'm using the one with more yellow/green. the violet is more intense on the other skein. he also overdyed two hanks of hot pink Lamb's Pride Bulky. one is overdyed with orange & scarlet & the other with violet & red. i'm not sure what to make with them. they don't 'go' with each other at all. i guess i can have him make more, since i had 7 skeins of the hot pink & i have no use for it in that color anymore. he enjoys dyeing yarn. lee

Oh thank you Mirjam - we could use some soft warm air right about now. It's still windy and cool. The snow from the storm is slowly going away, but not fast enough for me. ;>)
