Well, actually, I did email all my friends and family who knit. Only one responded, though, and she doesn't knit anymore. Still, if you never try you never get anything done. ;-)

No idea, I don't think we have stinging spiders in our country ...

But I don't know everything and could be wrong - it has been known :-)

Sadly, I have to rethink my Saturday knitting plans. But, I'll go sit at the bus stop for a few minutes if I have to. ;-))

I'm determined to take part.

Ever day is a knitting day for me. At the moment I'm knitting the band round my Arctic evening waistcoat, the stiches fill my 120cm 'circular' needle. The neck is high, the band goes down the front then round the dipped bottom then up the other side. Done four rows of single rib in the blue, now it's two and a cast off in gold. I might be ready for the armholes by tomorrow.

When that's finished I'll be going back to the multi-patterned white jumper which I loved knitting so much. Trouble is that although it's supposed to be an 'easy fit' I've lost so much weight since I began it the first time that I have to re-do it or be swamped.

Not complaining though :-)

I don't think stinging spiders would have a chance against Yorkshire folk :-)

Mary . . . I'll need a transfusion of Yorkie blood then! :D giggling, as my mother always claimed her pole blood kept mosquitoes away.... Noreen

Ah, mosquitoes are different :-(

There are some beautiful sites* I won't trade at again because of the mosquitoes. I simply daren't risk beiing bitten on the arm which has no immune protection from lymph nodes :-(

And I seem to be attractive to any biting insect :-(((( Have two large weals on my bum and another on my calf, just because I've been wearing shorts in the last two days. In YORKSHIRE!!!

Hrumph.
