~~~~~~~~~~~TIP~~~~~~~~~~~~ For an interesting addition to your designs, cut a square (or any shape) a little larger than your design from some contrasting fabric. Using fusible web or other bonding material, apply it to your project. You can then stitch around the edges with a decorative stitch or zig zag stitch- variegated thread would be great for this. Then stitch your design in the middle of your *patch*. Several of these on a tote would give a quilted look without all the work of quilting! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
