Humph! NOT permitted here: has to list everything, and if it says 'buckwheat' on the label, that's what it must be: that and nothing else! If there is a danger of contamination, the label has to say so, it cannot claim to be gluten free, and it has to be in the allergy warning.

We have gotten better about the allergy warnings here. IIRC, there are 8 common allergens that now have to have warnings on the label (wheat is one). Unfortunately, many Americans don't read labels. :(

I love the warning on my soy yogurt -- "contains soy". Well I should hope so! *grin*
