That is lovely Mary. Such a happy quilt!
Time well spent! It's fun AND lovely. And large. I've never seen that pattern tesselated into a large quilt like that. Must have been a joy to keep track of all those colors... ~:o)
Love it. anth> Thanks. I thought more on the line of fun. :)

OMG I've been looking for this pattern! I thought it was called tessellating tails (or cats) or something like that. In my mind, the cats were a little different, (heads up and heads down, not sideways) but I think this is it. I thought it might've been a pattern sold by Keepsake Quilting or something I found online. Your quilt is great, btw!

That's really adorable, Mary! I'm glad I'm not the only one who makes "5-year quilts." Hey, that's an idea - all those books that focus on quilts in a day or a weekend or whatever? We could write one on making quilts over five years! It's not as easy at it sounds, you know.
Now *that* is a *really* good idea >gg< It would be a best-seller for sure!! . In message , Louise in Iowa writes
Well worth the wait!

Thanks.

Thanks. I don't remember where I got the pattern.
Thanks. I have at least one more 5 year quilt in the tub.
Thanks. I think so.
