off topic - update on GrammyKathy

Earl has gotten the truck out of the repair shop now, and can get back on the road. The man who owns the house they are buying is still out in the Denver area on Christmas vacation. I don't know when he had planned on being back, but I do know the area has had a lot of snow and bad weather. I also know he is a farmer and there is no rush for a farmer to get back home around here this time of year.

Also, Kathy has been very sick for the last two weeks with the cold and flu. She is have trouble staying warm, have trouble breathing, and doesn't feel like eating much. So they've had one step forward, and two steps back. She also had to farm out all four furbabies, on the doctor's recommendation and at the insistence of these nephews, for the sake of her mother's health - she just got out of the hospital with pneumonia - even though the dogs live out on the porch with Kathy and aren't in the house.

Just wanted to update you on all this, because I know Kathy doesn't feel up to posting. She barely gets on chat with me for just a few minutes, if that. Thanks for all the prayers, WARM wishes, and good thoughts for Kathy and Earl.

Am praying for Kathy and Earl for a better place to live until the house is available. No one should have to be cold. I'm sure having to give up her fur babies has taken a toll on her as well. I'm praying for a warm place for them to live until the house is theirs, improved health for them both, and the knowledge that God loves her.
