Just got back from having my retina examined, and I want to remind all of you not to neglect your eyes! I had a bit of a panic when those creepy little lightning flashes started appearing in the peripheral vision of one eye (along with a slight increase in floaters), so went straight to the doctor. All is OK, for now, but I got the lecture on increased vigilance. It was in my more near-sighted eye, which makes sense, since myopic eyes are more likely to suffer from detached retinas. Also, especially if you are a person of a certain age, remember to get the pressure test while you're there! Roberta in D
