OT - Good thoughts and Prayers Needed

Hi everyone. I really wish there was no need for this but I'm asking everyone to say a prayer, pass a good thought or whatever you are comfortable with, to a family dear to my heart. It's for my dear DIL's best friend, Tam and her family. Early Saturday morning police pulled Tam's 24 y/o brothers car from the river that feeds into the Long Island Sound. They found his friends body in the car but no sign of Tam's brother. Divers searched for several days but found no sign of him. They don't know what happened that caused the car to plunge into the river at this point. But if you all would send some prayers, good thoughts, good vibes or whatever, this way I would greatly appreciate it. Tam is like one of my own and my heart is breaking for her and her family. Thank you all so much.

Is this the one on Nissaqogue River? There is nothing blocking the road from the River. If it is dark and you are unfamiliar with the area, it is an accident waiting to happen.

I recall the article, but no mention of another person in the car.

Prayers are with the family.

Thank you ALL so much for your prayers and good thoughts. I'm sure he was trying to swim to safety but that night police say the current in the river was unusually strong and it's difficult to dredge because of all the debris. At this point he's listed as a missing person. So we wait.

That's the one. The first article didn't give much details. It's sad that something like this has to happen to get the town to acknowledge that it's dangerous.
