OT: Hadron Collider

One of my employees was in a tizzy about the "end of the world" this morning. I had to explain that nature is pretty darned good at high energy physics, these collisions have happened from cosmic rays a million times over and we're still here. I also told him he could check this site

to get the current status anytime he wanted. ;-)

Naw....we wont be eaten up! but i thought it was a nice respite from the daily grind and problems!
