OT: I'm I here?

I have switched to Thunderbird, but it says there are no messages on the server...so, this post is to put a message on the server.

Please, ignore. I don't know what Earthlink thinks it is doing, but I wish it would stop!

Don't even say the EL word in my hearing right now, Tricia. :( I've had to switch to something else for lack of being able to connect to their servers. :(

I don't have any idea, Jenn. They announced an "upgrade" in service, and it's apparently wreaking havoc with a lot of people, according to an EL newsgroup I found -- on another server, of course. :S

I'm on Earthlink too. They upgraded something. . .. and I could not get new messages. I unsubscribed, then subscribed, and everything works for now.

I'm actually glad that it is them and not me! But, I am sorry that I am causing you pain, Sandy.

I have subscribed, and unsubscribed twice... I can read my redskin group, and my husband can read his computer building geek group, but rctq says 'no new messages on the server.' I am back in outlook for now. Don't know why it works here and not in Thunderbird.

Really weird that their 'upgrade' would cause havoc for some, but not all.

Anyway, apologies to all those having trouble.

Tricia, no apology necessary -- at least, not from you! You didn't do anything wrong, after all. It's EL that's messing up. :S
