OT: Just a little but part is on

I am in the process of washing all my fabric, I want to have it all done before I have surgery so if I should decide to try to cut something or make something, I am seriously thinking about trying to hand piece something small, it will all be ready. Plus I am sure that I will be able to sew some before I can do steps, so that's another good reason to get it washed. Then another one is just to get it up out of the laundry room.

That Magnolia fabric that I just had to have, I am thinking of taking several of you all's suggestions and making place mats out of it, do I pre wash it? I have about 3 maybe 4 more washing to do. Well 4 more if I do the Magnolia.

I also have a question, when washing fabric that is all in a series such as this is, can you wash it all together or do you still need to wash separately? For those of you that may have forgotten here is a link to it.

I have several yards of the first two and the fourth fabric swatch. Yes, I would love to have a quilt or a lap quilt at least made out of it but I have to be realistic I already have much more planned than I can probably do in a lifetime.

But fixing to post another question that is completely on topic and about more fabric.
