OT - Microsoft Outlook settings

Hello folks, I know some of you are technology wizards, so can someone please help me? I have the "options" about spelling set to the UK spelling in my Microsoft Outlook, but when it actually goes through my email and checks it before I send something, it always goes to US anyway! How can I stop this happening?

No idea -but AFAIK your spell check will normally default to the spelling of the document. And if you answer someone else's email who used US spelling, then that would probably become the default for that document.

When I go to write a completely new email, Outlook says something like "opening Word as your email editor". Then it should use the defaults set in Word. But there's no message like that if I simply hit "reply". Roberta in D
