OT: Mostly here!

Major portion of the moving is completed. Still have quite a bit of little stuff to do, but most of the furniture is at the new house and we are slowly getting things organized and put away. We finally got internet and telephone last night, so that's a bonus! Now I can sneak back here and check on all of you.

So far, Polly, I haven't found one nasty service person to feed the gators....but give me time! Almost sent you DS the other day though.

18 months old and he's firmly in the terrible twos!

I would have been so happy to have him. We would have had a wonderful time. If you think grandmothers spoil their grands, you can just imagine how unreal we great-grannies can get. I'll bet he would love putting a handful of earthworms in the back of a toy dumptruck and giving them the ride of their life. We also think eating with our hands is perfectly acceptable. Yesssss. Send him on. Polly

Move things around and explore - yes, he did that. He tried to move the door frame between the dining room and kitchen with his forehead. Hit so daggone hard that his shoe flew off! Then proceeded to inform me that the lamp was in the wrong place (read, he doesn't want it in our house) and showed me by turning it over and shattering the glass shade into so many tiny little shards that I had to vacuum for ever!

Once he finished all that and decided his work was done, he promptly locked himself in the playroom. *sigh* At least I have a key for that door. He locked himself in the master bedroom last week, and for some reason that had an exterior door knob on it, you know the kind with a "real" key and not one of the church keys.

He's definitely an experience! And at the end of the day he cuddles so well....

(And the kids have 2 big boxes in their playroom already! There will be a couple more that they can play with, but the others will have to be passed along.)

Off on another day of hauling stuff!
