OT : QI and pet food

A week or so back Patti (formerly from Seatle) mentioned a dog food that her dog was on. This sparked me to do some research as the last month or so Marty, my male Golden Retriever has just seemed to be eating his food as tho it smelled bad or something. Not that he has quit eating just that he approaches it differently than he used to. I gave some thought to teeth problems but he has no trouble biting and chewing hard treats. Only his regular dry dog food seemed to be unappealing. In the last few weeks I've started noticing that his coat is dry and he is shedding WAY more than normal. So today I went and bought a bag of the food Patti suggested. He got his first sample tonight when I got home and was quite thrilled with getting something new. I'm going to introduce this over a period of time till we have replaced a full feeding of the old stuff with this new stuff. Hopefully, a month from now I will be able to report that he seems to be "back on his feed" with a healthy coat etc, etc. Thanks for the recomendation Patti. It's nice to hear about a good product from someone that wasn't paid to say it. :)
