Sorry it has taken me so long to update you. Between work and a dying computer....I got a call at work that she landed safely in NY. Opened up several bottles of sparkling grape juice to celebrate! She is now in Maryland with her roommate from this past year. Julia is going to "babysit" for Amanda for 2 weeks when she will head back to NY and come on home!

Good news! We have a friend still stranded in Lebanon -- he went home to visit his father who loves very near the Beirut airport. We know he is okay because we ate at his restaurant last night and got a news update but he thinks it will be at least another week before he can get home.
