OT: SMIL passed away

We spent most of Wednesday with her, and DH's sister was with her last night when she passed away. Her quality of life has not been good the past two years, and it has been difficult to see her go downhill so slowly. Now we have to deal with funeral arrangements that were made 7 years ago, when we were told she had less than 3 months to live. I am donating the lap quilts that I made for her to the nursing home for use by other residents, and any of her clothes that were in good condition will be passed on as well. Some of the residents have little money and no family to look out for them, so this may help a little.

So sorry to hear that your SMIL passed away. It is thoughtful of you to pass her clothes to those in need. Barbara in SC (& FL during the winter)

((((( Susan ))))) and condolences to your entire family on the loss of a woman who was obviously much loved. I'm glad to hear your donated the things she no longer needs to those who still have need of them. It's a touching gesture made in your time of grief. I hope the arrangements are easily made and that you are able to celebrate her life in a way she would have wanted.

Hugs, Sunny
