OT sort of -- order not received

Anybody ever ordered from Mary Graham Designs at

? I ordered the Cats 2 pattern on march 23 through PayPal. Never got the pattern or answers to any emails. I used the email from the site snipped-for-privacy@nmia.com but got no answers. Found a different email on the PayPal site snipped-for-privacy@nmia.com .

Not at all pleased with the rip-off. . . . . Or has there been a death in the family?

When our Pat on Her Hill was writing her book, I got an up front face-to-face view of how difficult it would be to write a pattern for quilters of all levels. That scared the pants off of me. I accept that you couldn't know what the quilter knew or needed to be told. What was overkill. What could be 'assumed'. Terrifying. That said, the pictures of those quilts are quite charming. Really, Kay. I'll be glad to send you both patterns. I don't need them and the beginners around here couldn't deal with them. Polly

I almost signed up to be a member of the site. I sure won't be doing that.

I ordered the cats and cats 2 and never got them. I ended up with a chargeback from paypal.

Has anyone ever gotten anything they ordered from this group? Polly Esther did, right?

I think I am going to try one more thing. I will fill out a paper order form and mail the PayPal transaction sheet. We'll see what happens. Maybe I should require a signature for the mail to be received.

Back in 1995, Mary & husband (?) Osmond (Ozz) joined RCTQ briefly to ask about interest in an online site for quilt businesses; they named their site Quilt Biz. Then they never spoke to us again. Her current site has a phone number (which would be ringing off the wall if I had not received any response) and a p.o.box addy. Before ordering anything from her, it might be a good idea to email or call first & RECEIVE a reply, to see if there is actually a working business there. As the patterns are more "cartoonish" than the type of site I usually buy from, it just doesn't appeal to me. YMMV Glad to read that Kay got her charge-back/credit.
