Thanks Leslie for telling us about your new carpet cleaner. My old one wasn't doing such a great job, so I bought the Bissell. Love it. To test it, I vacuumed with the Dyson pet vac, and thought I'd picked up a lot of cat hair..Oh my, guess not. The Bissell got up loads of hair immediately after I vacuumed. I now have very clean carpets.

I just threw away a vacuum we bought a year ago....it first picked up unbelieveable stuff. Then it started to shoot the stuff out the back and not into the collecter cup thing. What model Bissell did you mention. I could not find the original post. DeeDee
