Aloha MC, Yesterday I checked the mail and got a wonderful thank you note from Savannah's parents. It really made my day!!! I was wondering if you had any updates about little Savannah.

It is very beautiful and worth the watch. Please forward it and this email to as many people as possible. Savannah continues to hang on, but her aunt was rulled out as a live donor as has everyone else that has applied so far. Here are the criteria for a live donor: The "perfect" donor for Savvy as we have been informed is: a.. female b.. 35 years old or younger c.. petite frame d.. not overweight e.. non-smoker f.. non-drinker or drinker on occasion g.. no drug use h.. Type A or O blood then there are other components that would need to be confirmed through testing such as vein structure. A donor would have to be able to take 2-3 weeks off after the transplant for recovery. They need to be aware that with this surgery like any other surgery. There is a risk of death. There is no compensation.

The best way to get daily updates on Savannah is to read the "journal" at

People can also donate there directly to the fund.

The more people that know about Savannah and organ donation, the more chances of survival, not only for Savannah but for all those other people out there waiting for a second chance at life. ( There are over 97,000 people waiting for a transplant in the US alone!)
