another Towne Purse

Patchwork in this one is made from scraps of lightweight denims, left over from when my DGKs were toddlers.

Doreen that's just beautiful!! Like Juno, I love denim too, which reminds me I need to make a new band for my denim watch...the old one is looking a bit shabby.

Thanks, Juno. I just about live in jeans, so it would be accurate to say I love denims too. :)

But but but...I already packed it up with all my stuff. You wouldn't want me to have to undo all this, would you?...Wallet, keys, comb, lipstick. In the inside pockets: a pad of post-its, two pens, lockbox key, retractable measuring tape, band-aids, chapstick, tiny tube of hand lotion, artificial tears, nail clippers, nail file, cough drops, dental floss, needle and safety pins.

Which makes me wonder: what do y'all consider necessary in your everyday purse?

Thanks, Emily. I think it'll kind of look OK with most of my errand-running clothes, not that I'm any model of fashion or anything, but one I made previously was not as versatile.

How nice of you to say! I owe it to lots and lots (and lots and lots and lots) of practice.

The pattern is Towne Purse, from Lazy Girl Designs. I've used two LGDs patterns and think the directions are clear and well written, although after making the first of six (so far) I tweaked a few steps, as we invariably do. :)
