There were many years i tried to walk `in line `, but slowly i found i liked /preffered my Own line !!!!and went for it ,,, It did help of course that i haven`t the ideal 90-60-90 ,,, that i need natural fibers etc.... Mirjam, I've been looking through the fiber art page you listed in one of your posts. Today has been a perfect day to do it. We are having rain and gray weather so I feel that I have lots of time to enjoy your work and writings. I still have a lot to see but feel that at least I've made a start. I worried too much about making everything TOTALLY PERFECT and flawless and overplanned. So if something didn't work-out as planned, I perceived it as being "ruined" or a piece of junk. Also, when I was young, there were sometimes when middle-aged adults tried to "cure" me of being "odd" and I ended-up feeling freaky and ashamed that I would rather make/adapt my own clothes instead of looking like the models in the teen magazines.

Fortunately, I'm feeling a lot better now! ;-D

In our Culture there is a wonderful story , about a man who comes to a tailor for a new suit, and the tailor invites him time and again for more fittings. At the end the man gets sick of it, and says to the tailor : "listen , what do you need so much time and fittings, Afterall God made the world in 7 days !!!" 'AHA " said the tailor "And look how unperfect that is !!!" And on the other hand we also have a tradition that Only God makes perfect things .. Thank you for the complement on my name. The name comes from Roman mythology, She was Jupiter's wife and queen of the goddess. She was a rather mean and vindictive person. I hope my parents didn't realize that when they named me. To add to it, my middle name is Regina. So that makes me Juno the Queen.LOL The name was chosen because my mother wanted to name me after my father, His name was John and she was not fond of the name Joanne, Joan or any other name she found close to John. She decided on Juno because it had 3 of the 4 letters found in John. The Regina was chosen because she wanted to use the first letter of her grandmother's name, Rachael. My Maternal Grandmother , who was murdered in Auschwitz was also called Regina,, and so was her Sister in law, [murdered in Sobibor] . Rachel our Mother is one of my favorite biblical ladies !!!!
