I haven't seen it, but two of my good girlfriends keep telling me I need to watch it. I'll have to see if I can get it on DVD at the rental place (that has a huge selection of TV series) and catch up.

I ordered season 1 and 2 from OPB during their annual fund drive. I watched it last year, and am so enjoying this year as well. Both DDs are too.

Indeed! I LOVE the Dowager Countess' costumes. Drool....

Maggie Smith is a hoot, the show would not be nearly as much fun without her.!

this is the second season.

8 episodes this year and there were 2 extras overseas. If you are in the states you should be able to watch via pbs, maybe even the first year. also you can download, check binsearch, subs available to tack onto the download.

Great show and I am not one to watch daytime dramas. s

Happy dancing! I just received the season two three-disk DVD set, which includes several "Specials" including "Christmas". I will be watching it non-stop for the next few hours...

No work on the kilt today. :-(

It's not a daytime drama here in the USA. I don't know where you are located but it's broadcast here on Sunday night on our local PBS stations.

Everybody seems to be talking about Downtown Abbey, but I have not seen it offered on TV here; it sounds much like something I would enjoy. Do you know where I might find the DVDs on sale, Beverly?

Thank you, Beverly; I haven't seen it on the PBS here. Since one of my DGS's recommended I watch it, too; and told me I could order it online from PBS, as well. Emily

I'm on the hold list at our public library. They have season one and two. You might check with yours, Emily.
