OT Undies success

From time to time on here we discuss the problem of finding well ftting bras for the well-endowed among us. I had been having a dreadful time recently, until, by a roundabout route, I finally found one which fit. Unfortunately, it apparently only came in chocolate brown, which is no use to me under light clothing. However, I bought it, and it did fit.

Fast forward. I decided to try (again, sigh) on line.

It was by Goddess, much to my surprise. They must have got some new designers, because their larger bras always used to be heavy, bullet shaped and generally unatractive. The first site I tried did, indeed, say it came only in brown. The next site said it was back-ordered, but they could get it in beige. This went on through several sites, but I decided, just for the heck of it, to explore all the sites which Google had brought up.

Finally, I came to

which not only had it in my size and color but said they could ship right away. Also, on that site, I saw another one, also by Goddess, which looked as though it would be what I wanted. I ordered two of the first and one of the second, and figured "Oh well, see how long it takes." I ordered it on July 2 and figured it might not even ship until after the holiday. Not so. They shipped it that day by UPS, and it arrived here on Tuesday July 7. That is with a holiday weekend in betwen.

This is the first time I had even heard of this company, but I am very pleased with their service so far. Just thought I'd share.

NAAY of course.

I have several Goddess products for myself, and suggested their strapless bras for a couple of the attendants at DD's wedding. How nice that you found a good supplier online.

I am happy you found a good source for your bras.

Apparently, I missed the posts on bras for the well-endowed, otherwise I would have mentioned Bare Necessities long before. Several members of my family get all their bras from them and have for years. All have been happy with the merchandise and service.

I wore Goddess in the 1980s before other brands were available. I think it was their strapless longline I wore at my wedding! I agree it looks like they've revamped their collection. Elomi apparently is also by Goddess and it's getting good reviews. Glad Bare Necessities worked out for you! Bummer that Figleaves and Zodee have tons of stuff on their non-US websites that they won't ship to us Yanks. I just went through another round of hunting for the perfect bra. I'm still waiting for the latest set through the mail of ones that I hope will fit. Best, Pora

I have found a second style of RTW bra that comes in my size (sold at twotexasbelles.com, whose owners I was ), although I am not as happy at the way this second style fits -- I suspect it is because it is supposed to be a basketball-shape-type cup, although on my build it comes across as a half-watermelon-shape-type or two-thirds-football-shape-type cup, and the further you get away from a half-sphere shape, the less support you get; plus, the apices are too far apart for my taste.

These days my at-home work is only part-time and I am working full-time in an office, and I don't know if I have the energy to recreate my lost bra pattern, but I am going to have to.
