Hi Susie,

Very nice and you can't tell that you have only been knitting for four weeks. Congratulations.

Did you get any snow?

Hugs,

Nora

Hi Nora, I've learned a few thing that's for sure. :) Thanks. Nope we didn't get snow but I son did in the Syracuse area. We are 40 now and sunny. Did you? Susie

Looks great!

I've knitted before, but I'm about the same level as you. My next project (after I finish the two ponchos, use the scarf yarn, and sew up the purse I made sides for (it's actually just simple knitting), I'll probably make a sweater for me, but I'm too chicken to try stripes yet. Being a veteran quilter, I am very familiar with UFO's.

You motivate me.

Thanks! The strips were the easiest part. :o) UFO's??????? Yes, I have a few of those. Two Queen Quilts that need quilting. I'm planning a sweater for ME next. I can't imagine bigger than a 4 T though right now. LOL. You sound like you have a lot going, Susie

I'm very impressed, Susie! Keep up the good work.

Janise, in western NY where we didn't get any snow either. Tomorrow, it is supposed to be in the mid-60's.

Janise, We are suppose to be close to 60 tomorrow. Thanks for being impressed. I can hardly believe it myself. :) Susie

Hi Susie,

No snow here either and it's going to be in the 60's tomorrow and Monday. As my DH says, it figures, it's Halloween and it's always warm then.

Hugs,

Nora

Hi Nora, I'm glad it will be warm for the kids. I've seen snowy Halloweens before and the winter coats, hats, and mittens out. It is pretty hear with all the beautiful colored leaves. :) Susie

Gemini, Thanks for the congratulations. :) It has been mostly fun so far. I want to make a sweater for "me" next I think, Susie

I've seen some cold Halloweens too! One year I had knitted Matthew a chainmail suit of armor (hood and all), and sewed him a tunic to wear over it. He had the suit of armor on over his jogging suit, and was VERY warm while the other kids were almost frozen. ;o)

That will be nice to do something for yourself.... then you get to wear it with pride and have people ask you where you "bought" such a pretty sweater. What this old thing? I knit it myself!!! LOL

You did a great job Susie, you deserve a pat on the back. I enjoyed looking at your other projects too. You're doing very well for just learning how to knit. Marie and the cats
