Europe to mark tragedy with two-minute silence

will come to a standstill for two minutes this week to remember thevictims of the London bombings. Millions of people will observe a moment'ssilence to honour the dead.The mark of respect will come at 1pm on Thursday, a week after theterrorists struck. Books of condolence are also to be opened for the publicto sign, and grieving relatives will be invited to gather in TavistockSquare to lay flowers.

Funny date and time, means our US brothers\ and\ sisters have to get up early, it'll be 8am where Nora is, and goodness knows what time everywhere else...oh well.. The date doesn't signify anything either...

We still do our town silence Sept 11th by the way, I think most towns do over here.
