OT - Winter is back,

Here in Wisconsin, what a lulu, yesterday, around 10:30 am, it hailed, thundered and had lightning! Plus snow, and now we're under a cold spell advisory until tomorrow at noon! Carol In WI

Hi Carol,

You didn't have to send it on to me. We had the same thing except no major snow, lots of high wind and we lost power for over two hours which isn't bad. There are still over 110,000 people without it in a five county area and it's the coldest we have been all winter.

Hugs,

Nora

I went up to the cemetery this afternoon to visit my parent's gravesite, and after those high winds and major thunder and lightning storm we had on Thursday night... there are a couple of smaller trees actually uprooted, and a few snapped off, and a lot of branches off bigger trees that had snapped off and were blown around a bit too. My Dad's larger Christmas wreath (which stood quite tall) was laying on it's side with only one of the wire legs of the stand still in the ground. I took that home! My Mom's shorter one was firmly standing with all three legs of the stand frozen into the ground.

I only got out of the van long enough to retrieve my Dad's wreath because it was so bitterly cold. But I stayed to visit the gravesite in the van with the motor running to keep warm.
