Does anyone know if V5 Bernina Embroidery Software will run on the new Windows 7. My wife would like to get a laptop computer to take to her quilting/embroidery club but they all come with windows 7 now and she has V5 software

Indeed, and why would one want to. Artista is good software but like Windows® leads the newbie by the nose.
I just installed Windows 7. I checked with Bernina UK that it would be compatible before I went ahead and installed it and they confirmed that it is. I have it working fine. You need to ensure you have Bernina service pack 2 installed. Also make sure you run the program as administrator as otherwise it does not work. Pamela.
