2100...Like many others i to.can't always afford all the extras...... Hope this isn't a silly question.( everythings easy...when you know how ) How difficult is it to ....1.. Get the whole of the border in your hoop...........2 And to add more border to it ...if you need to...........3 Last but not least Can you recommend some designs which do borders...............I'm not a "new newbie".....but still have loads to learn...and loving every minute of it............. You can set the machine to repeat the border as often as it fits in the hoop, just as easy as you would do that on your PC otherwise. But when you've reached the end of the hoop, you still have to rehoop, as you always did. The only difference is is that the machine makes it a little easier for you by adding aligning stitches for you, and by adding them at the beginning and the end of a (repeated) border, in stead of in the center of the design. About the designs: any design can be repeated to form a border, a border doesn't have to be continuous. But if you're looking for continuous borders, I know Embroidery Library and Zundt have some, but there must be many more.
It's for the 3,000 machine only. But with your machine I think you would make your border from any border design you like into the size you want to fit your largest hoop in your software. Hoop and stitch out in the normal way. Use your grid to ensure you get the next section of the border exactly right and you can do as many border lengths as you like. I think your largest frame is about 10", and the border kit for the 3,000 machine only is
