hi everyone. i haven't been around for a few. dd was doing soccer and DS is keeping me on my toes. dh is still out of town for work. he just moved into a condo over the weekend so he is finally out of the motel sharing a room with another guy. now he has room to spred out and we are going down to see him next month. i just realized how long it's been since i've checked in or posted. hope everyone is doing well.

Hi Anji, it's great to see you again. I'm sure you are busy with your DH gone. Hopefully you can get a routine down to make it easier. Now will you be moving there with him or will you and your family continue with the way things are.
my DH does Heavy Equipment Operating. he runs backhoes and loaders and all the things that makes him cool (in the eyes of 3YO DS)
no, we will not be moving down there. cost of living is a bit high because it is a tourist spot. and there is really nothing around. the closest wal-mart or costco or anything like that is about 2 1/2 hours away. right now i have in-laws just a few miles away that help alot. and i'm only a few hours away from my mom. if we moved we would be about 10 hours from them. he comes home every couple months for a week or so. we will be there for a month or a little more this summer.
Good to see you again Anji! Sounds like you've been busy with the kids. I can't imagine DH being gone that much, only if he were military. Hope you can check in more often, we miss you!

Glad to see you drop in, anji! We've certainly missed you. I know how crazy it gets at my house when DH is gone for just a few days. I can just imagine what it would be like to have him gone for months at a time!
