Eeeek! It's almost June

Feverishly working on my CCC May cards. I've been chalking for 2 hours... OK while watching the 5th season of "Sex and the City". I have the insides printed. A little more cutting and assembling and I'll meet the challenge. Just peeked my head out of the craft room to see how dinner was simmering.

I'll try, but no guarantees this month. DD (Sarah) has to be out of her apartment by Saturday evening or pay rent again for another month. They (DD, husband amd granddaughter) may be with us for a few days. The house we are remodeling for them has no electricity as of 9 am this morning for electrical work over the weekend, new furnace and a/ c. Will be back on on Monday morning. They are going to go ahead and move in while they finish it up. There are still two closets to build. DH has drywalled 5 rooms and two bathrooms, Still two to go (kitchen and laundry room), moved three doors and closed off two so far. There is still so much to do. I told DH the timing was perfect for him to be out of work. He's so tired now that he wants to go back to work. He's been working on this house every day for the last four weeks. He has taught DD how to hang drywall, use power tools, run wires and install plumbing. She is so excited about finally moving into a house of their own. DH and I were talking yesterday about how she definitely has her own blood, sweat and tears in this home. Yes, I have been everywhere with a camera taking pictures inbetween helping after hours with the drywall and wiring. I went in and ran all of the phone lines after they gutted the house. It has been so neat to take the granddaughter (age two and a half) down to the house (three blocks from us) after daycare closes to see what they have done . She is so excited about her new house and her room. I'll be looking for paper for the album. I remembe Shannon's pages from building their home. Didn't she have some blueprint type paper?

Very nice Cathy! I like the poinsetta flower, looks really cute on there. Great job!

Beautiful card! Love the poinsetta! I wanted one for my cupcake cards. Is it a punch? A sticker? I ended up going with a bow.

Thanks Lynne. The flowers are from Making Memories. They have white ones and the red ones and they also come with leaves and brads.
