CCC Challenge March 6 more days to complete

How's everyone's coming alone? I'm SO lagging. I have one card done at least 5 more to meet my challenge. It's the 25th! 6 more days to complete the challenge!

I got 3 more cards done last night for a total of 4. I was trying the masking technique and I didn't find it to be very easy. I might look on line for some directions as the end look was nice, but it was hard to do.

Congrats on getting 3 more cards done. Where you using inking or arylic (sp?) paint for the masking cards? I took a paint class and we used a mask with arylic paint. I did a quick layout in the class but now that you mention masking... I might try it with cards. I have only done a masking technique once with ink and it turned out pretty good. Of course, I had my stampin up demo sitting next to me helping. ;o)

That was my problem my Stampin Up' demo wasn't sitting next to me. hahaha That's the last time I did it too. I've obviously left out a step as it was much easier then.

Found out I forgot the temporay adhesive to keep things from slipping around. I was wondering why I needed so many fingers to do a little stamp. Lynne

That is so cool Lynne. I've never tried masking like that. I really like that word window punch. I'm going to have to see if I can find one.

That is a cool tutorial. I probably would have forgotten the temp. adhesive also. I think we may have used a notepad of stickies for our temp. adhesive.

Thanks Linda!!

I like this idea...

7] To stamp a partial image, use tape to cover the part of the stamp you don't want to appear, ink the stamp, remove the tape, and stamp the image.

I stamped on a post it note and it worked quite well for about 3 stamps them the ink started to bleed through the Post-It paper. So, be careful. QUICK TIP To ensure that the mask stays in place, stamp image on a Post-It® note.

I've done several, just need to make sure I've uploaded them. Which I don't think I've done. LOL
