Christmas Card Challenge February 2008

Here's who I have down as having their challenge done for February. Any others have theirs done and posted that I haven't got on the list. Anyone else want to be on the list and need to get their cards done? There's still time with an extra day this month you still have 6 days to finish your Christmas Challenge cards.

Me, me, me!!!! I got mine done. I made 15! I was so excited I started them tonight and I finished them! LOL They are all the same but I think that's okay. If it's not then let me know and perhaps I'll work on more before the end of the month. Yeah, I know I got carried away. I posted one to my webshots account.

How pretty! The colors are perfect. I've got the same stamps, and April sent me the snowflake embossing plate. I have to try this....maybe for my March cards as I have my idea ready for the February ones. That is, if I can get some more adhesive in time. I do so hate using glue sticks. Sandy

Thank you Sandy. I do have to say that I used someone's suggestion and went to Split Coast Stampers and did a search on Christmas Cards and then came up with a nice selection of Pink colors. I totally CASED this one. Though I can't say for sure who I CASED. Go out and get you some more adhesive woman! LOL

Thank you Jessica! I used 2 challenges in 1. Another group I'm on has a year long challenge to use up some of our paper stash (ducking the flying combat boot coming from OKC!!) and each month is a different color/theme. Well, as you can guess Feb. is pink. So I tried to use some pink in the Christmas Card Challenge. I am excited to use up some of my paper as I had over 93.5 inches! That doesn't include the 6x6 paper and the basket of slabes that are 8x8 or smaller. As each month passes I will be going through each color and culling paper that I don't like/will never use, then pass it along to a girl scout group.

I really like it Kenda! I never thought of using pink for Christmas cards, but your card works great, even if you did CASE it. LOL

Thank you Tammy! I don't know what possed me, but I think it was so I could use up 2 sheets of pinkish paper! LOL Anything to get the paper down to a managable amount! I set 5 aside for my personal use, then put the other 10 in clear bags, sealed to send to my son's platoon after they are deployed and "settled". They need cards to be able to send home and I've heard that over in Iraq the sand is an issue so they request the cards be put in a bag. I have 2 photo boxes already to send. I figure that by the middle of July they will be ready for something to send home. (they hit the ground on July

2nd). :(

Kenda - this is kinda off topic, but I have to ask, in your signature it says "sour cream" and "mini Sour cream" packets.

What are those????????

Kenda I love the embossing on your card.

Hey Kenda I found this on another board. One inch of patterned paper with make 75 layouts, 1 inch of cardstock will make 50 layouts. Just think how many you can do with your 93.5 inches of paper!
