Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes! It started out as a pretty nice day. DH gave me money for both my upcoming scrappin trips - CKC in St. Louis and the barn. Youngest DD and DS supplied a DQ ice cream cake, oldest DD and the grandchildren gave me some neat lawn ornaments for the flower beds, oldest DS is going to pick up my van this week and replace the brake pads, and middle DD (who is short on cash right now) came for the day after leaving our youngest grandbaby overnight. We really enjoyed the quality time with her (and DD) as we don't get to see DD or Rya as much as the other grandchildren. Of course the evening was ruined by the severe weather we went through. We were without electricity most of the evening and night. Finally got it back shortly before the alarm sounded to get up for the day. Half of our town is still in the dark. So much damage everywhere. We only lost a few shingles and loose siding and all of the daycare play equipment was all up against the fence across the yard. We have a huge Step2 playhouse I can stand up inside. It was across the yard against the fence too. It have not been moved since we put it together 9 years ago because of the weight. We were lucky, a friend of ours had a tree fall on their truck, another has a tree in her kitchen, and our neighbors got a picnic table through their sliding glass doors. Hope everyone else was save. This storm crossed several states. Sandy

WHAT??!!! nd you did not say anything? Oh you are so in trouble and will et ya sooner or later!!! (humm guess the little package of goodies was right on time?!)

Hope you had a good one and again like I said to MC, lucky I am reading all the cotton pickin posts as there is a ton of them I missed with being gone and being over worked!!
