me too. Wish there was something we could do to help such a wonderful man and his company.

What a wonderful man. I'm off to Spotlight to find some polartec (not that yucky cheep stuff)!
I well remember when this happened. As a person who worked exclusively for workers who had been abused by corporations, this man restored some of my faith. I spoke with a couple of his workers and let me tell you these people would walk thru fire for Mr. Feuerstein. I have always made it a practice to buy Polartec if I use fleece. Kind of the same way I won't buy Domino Pizza or Coors Beer. I can't possibly know the background of EVERY company where I spend my money, but I can at least know the background of some of them. I did now that you posted the link. Thank you! Sure makes me want to help out. I will have to try a polartec (Accept no substitutes!) quilt soonest!
I have yet to try a quilt, but last Christmas I serged the edges of 2 yards of fleece and they made wonderful presents for everyone. I have stacks of them around my house because everyone freezes here. 4th of July saw people lounging on my sofas snuggled under blankets.

I agree. It's not the same as the fleece sold at places like TSWLTH. It lasts forever. Even better yet, it is made out of recycled material, specifically empty 2 liter soda bottles. No kidding. Plastic spun to fiber. So in addition to being a great company, it is an environmentally friendly product. And so easy to sew with to boot. Doesn't ravel, doesn't fray. Mp affiliation, I just love the stuff.
