New member and a question about Delica Sample Cards at FMG???

Hello everyone! I'm new here - not very new to beading though!! I enjoy all kinds of beadwork, from simple stringing, to stitched pieces. And I collect beads as well. Any bead/beads that catch my eye. (At least that's what I tell my DH when I'm buying beads that I have no idea what I'm going to do with!!) And now... On to my question!!

I'm trying to figure out if the Delica Sample Cards available at FireMountainGems has all of the currently available Delica colors on them. There are only four cards available there, and I want to make sure that I'll have all the colors on my sample cards. One has 377 colors, one has 177 colors, one has 72 colors, and the last one doesn't list how many colors it has but it's around $23 so I'm thinking it should have quite a few. Does anyone know??

I would write or call FMG and ask them.

The site regrets to inform the user that it is only accessible via MSIE. Firefox is apparently not acceptable.

Nope - I've warned about that site before. Only works with IE.

On the up-side - their pricing, selection, and customer service is outstanding and they give you $20 credit per referral that results in a purchase.

This is the crap that made me leave this group! GET OVER IT!! Everyone knows most of you HATE FMG and will stop at nothing to get people to buy from others, (who by the way buy from FMG and sell at MUCH higher prices), who are much more costly! I love FMG and will continue buying from them. If you hate FMG.... why bother reading or responding to these posts? Move on and get a life! GET BEADING AND STICK TO BEADING!!!!! FMG has top quailty and the LOWEST prices! PERIOD! My 2 cents and I can care less what any one thinks aboit them!

They know - I complained to them the first time I ever placed an order. They like their internal search engine and feel that it makes them unique in the marketplace. They said that in future they may try and redo it to make it more compatible across browsers, but it was expensive to create and they try to keep costs down so that their pricing on goods is low.

It is too bad they don't even have a feedback link that is clean code

Willy,

We weren't speaking about FMG. Read the entire thread, please.

Kalera and I were having a completely civil discussion and if you read it carefully, you'll see that we agree on the point at hand.

Obviously you didn't leave; and you are mistaken as to what the conversation is about. Kalera and Barbara are not talking about FMG.

You need medication and/or bedrest. Jesus Q. Christ--No one WAS bashing FMG, you kn0b!

But now that you're inviting, I will...

As if... I could spot their shoddy stone quality from a zillion miles away--AND inflated prices. (That'd be FMG's *regular* prices, forGET seeing their CRAP being resold, I'd avoid it for miles)

Wow, you have very low standards as far as quality goes, then.... I'd LOVE to see whatcha make.

Well then SHUT THE FUCK UP!

LOL, what's funny about this is that it has nothing to do with FMG! Dude. Duh. It's some other supplier that I can't order from (or even look at their pages) because they don't have clean code that runs on multiple browsers. I was bemoaning the fact that I can't even TELL them (without downloading and installing IE) because even their "feedback" link is dirty code.

Thanks for the chuckle, though! Dumb jerk.

Their internal search engine has nothing to do with cross-browser compatibility, though.

I will agree that a GOOD programmer is expensive. I suspect they got shafted by whoever devel> They know - I complained to them the first time I ever placed an order.

'Scuse the late reply...

Actually you can. There's an extension for firefox where you can right-click a link and "open in IE tab" - I forget exactly how I found it but searching the extensions pages for "open link in IE" or something similar should find it. I had previously tried something that was supposed to tell the website it was being browsed with IE but it didn't seem to work, however I recently downloaded this one so I could fill in surveys that require IE to view them and it works a treat! NAYY... I like to keep all my surfing within one browser window and this way I can even if a site requires IE.
