Well I can remember being very happy as a child playing with boxes, sticks and dirt! I always try to buy things that will last a long while and are educational in some way, preferably something that doesn't "think" for the child.
Of course WHY parents buy this junk is that cartoons are only commercials anymore and the kids that soak them up want everything advertised...
I still think we ought to go back to sticks and dirt! USA dirt, that is. LOL
