Three months until the Fabulous Florida Funfest! January 6th, 2004, in Melbourne Beach/Indialantic Florida! Food, fun, beads, fun, festivities... and did I say FUN? Hosted by Tink and Prairieson, this gathering will be held at a gorgeous beachfront townhouse, complete with jacuzzi, ocean kayaks and much more! Indialantic/Melbourne Beach is the closest beach to Disney World: Pretty much due east from Orlando. I have traveled a LOT, and this remains my favorite place to go when I need to unwind.
We'll be grillin' and chillin' till the wee hours, so bring your beads, jammies and bunny slippers.

Folks have asked me what the cost will be for this, and my answer is NOTHING. Donations cheerfully accepted, but not expected nor required. We will have food and drink, but you might want to pick up a beverage on the way in case we don't have what you want. Because of varying tastes and such, I recommend that those planning to attend send me a list of their likes, dislikes, allergies and so on. If you plan to swim, bring your suit and beach towels. We'll supply the sun, surf and sand :-)
As much as we would like to have each and every one of you spend the whole week with us (yeah, right! lol) we simply can't accommodate everyone. A couple of folks may be spending the night for various reasons, but you will need to find a place to stay. I can recommend a wonderful place or two, but I warn you that you need to act NOW to get a reservation anywhere. Nearby lodgings are very reasonable, as are most things in this wonderful place.The townhouse is situated on one of the most important sea turtle beaches in the world.
