And what's wrong with purple!?! (;-) It's the color of royalty, or creativity, in short, the best color there is! Barbara Dream Master

I don't favor purple either. Partly because it's not all that complementary -- and especilly for me. And also I have gotten terribly bored with purple.

This one was not boring in the least! I love Maureen Kelly's work.

The closest i can actually get to liking purple is a deep burgundy. I think it has to do with the fact that it just doesn't look all that wonderful on me, so I tend to avoid it altogether. There's nothing wrong with it at all. In fact, there are very few hues that I definitely don't like...and I can't even think of what they are off hand. Have you ever noticed that you're drawn to one colour in particular? What is that colour that you tend to surround yourself with?

Purple and "berry" colors accentuate that hold-your breath purple/red in my skin. Even more true because my dermatologist keeps telling me to avoid sun.

The color I always am drawn to is the blue green range -- in agua, turq, "jade", etc. Not the cobalt and Christmas green range. It's always the color I see first. My house has reddish brown carpet, and honey colored logs. So the dark teal leather sofa is kind of the featured color (aside from all the wood everywhere), and also acts as a third color to produce a neutral, from the reds, yellows and blue(/green).

I also love red. It has always amazed me that red works so well on so many people.

Tina -- It has taken me my whole life to love red. Right now, I love your sofa, LOL.

I love red the most in interior design -- wall colors in bedrooms or dens and couches. But I also always have -- just one -- red silk blouse or cashmere sweater, just to show off my dark hair. Thanks -- think I'll wear it today

I only look good in jewel tones, deep jewel tones. I surround myself with teals, turquoise, purple, lavender and blues.

The only color I truly detest is brown. Particularly gray or mud toned browns. Barbara Dream Master

You would love our matching teal rocker-recliners! The wood furniture is that cherry color. Except in the bedroom where it's black lacquer. Barbara Dream Master
