~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~TIP~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For a unique picture background for a design, take a square of fabric a little larger than your finished picture. Then take one or more smaller pieces of complementary fabric and fuse something like Wonder Under on it. Cut some random shapes from these fabrics and place them on your background until you like the look. Then fuse them and add decorative stitches around the edges. Now you can use your background to stitch your design. Choose fabrics that won't overpower the design

- i.e. shades of light blue as the background for a bird design. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
