Is there an approriate place for me to sell no longer needed accessories for an embroidery machine I no longer possess? For example, I have a hoop for a Janome I no longer have. The hoop was expensive, so I would like to sell it. Also, any suggestions on what to be careful of when selling items? Thanks!

There's eBay, of course. But there's also

Craigslist. The usual scam is an email asking to buy your item with a large cashier's check, and for you to send the balance western union to the buyer. Just ignore any email like that.
Best way to sell is to be paid by Paypal. That way you get your money right away and can send the items. The only money order I would recommend is a USPS money order, which you can cash at the post office. I would cash it before sending the item, too, just in case it's counterfeit. No checks. Too risky.
Just wait until any form of moeny transaction clears and then send. eBay works like this.

I've bought and sold on this group. It's a very active list. Gen
