Wow, how refrained you all are. I was expecting something along the lines of . . .
YOU SPAMMING BASTARD, TAKE YOUR SPAM AND GO TO HELL !!! BTW, YOUR HORSES LOOK LIKE . . . I DUNNO, NOT HORSES ANYWAY. MAYBE HORSES GROWING UP AROUND CHERNOBYL !!!
Something like that anyway. It's kinda fun reading the flame replies, although of course very rarely would they come back for a look.
Better ? Yeah must t> Probably because we didn't see the original post was retro-deleted from the > server.
That'd be your server Mike ? Not a bad idea, all the more reason why spam SHOULD be ignored, but like I said, rarely would any of them come back to see what replies there were, so what's the harm of a big of taking the mickey out of them or their products a bit, especially when they can be so ignorant of usenet etiquette or even bother to read a few posts to see what the general feeling is. BTW, what the heck does > Smart like tractor, strong like bull < mean ?
If you adjust your mouse speed settings to the highest level, do you get a better result ? Terrible concept of course, but I got 374 !
See ya, Les e-mail munged, remove the obvious to reply direct
These opinions are mine, not those of my employer. It is the opinion of my employer that I should, at this moment, be working.
Well, Les, what you have to do is practice! It's like anything else, but if your boss prefers you to be working..... turn down the speakers while practicing!!
Gotta go tack up the for sale sign, and find something cheap and meaningless to sell via the NG with spamm, (has 2 mm's?)
Many years ago, on one of the Twin Cities FM stations was a 'dynamic duo' Chuck Knapp and Michael Douglas. I believe they coined the phrase "Smart like tractor, strong like bull" during a discussion having something to do with the russians (Soviets at that time). They were making fun of some sort of novel soviet invention which was supposed to revolutionize their failing farms, a kind of robotic tractor or something like that. The only problem was that while it was semi-intelligent, it had no horsepower. Hence the phrase "smart like tractor, strong like bull".
I had a friend from big Minnie who drove around for weeks with a bumper sticker that said " I'm as smart as a horse, and hung like Einstein.". Of course, I strongly denied any knowledge of how that got stuck on his car.
