Error posting

I recently goofed up and posted someone's mailing address to the list rather than sending it to myself. I cancelled the message immediately but it apparently went out anyway. It was an honest mistake and I have apologized to the offended party.

I've been a poster and a lurker here for a number of years and I know that sometimes people can make silly mistakes when posting.

I just hope we can put the issue to rest and let the flak stop, please.

Thanks.

Cheers,

Hi Laury:

Just ignore the flak. As I said (in my e-mail to you), we've all accidentally posted something we didn't mean to. Those who are giving you a hard time aren't worth worrying about.

Come on down out of 'lurkdom'. The water's warm (sometimes hot) and we do have a lot of fun.

If anyone other than the person whose address you posted is giving you flak, they're not worth your time.

I can vouch for everything Marg has said. Embarrassing at the time, but soon forgotten!

I'm glad to know somewhere is warm -- it's been a cold & dismal pre-spring where I am (I'm not prepared to call what we've got spring!).

I haven't posted much as I haven't done a lot of stitching these days. I've had MLI's Celtic Autumn on the go for the last 18 months and I just finished Mirabilia's Holiday Cherub 2000 for a group quilt. I try to stitch a bit in the evenings before bed but rarely accomplish as much as I would like.

Cheers,

Laurey - nice to see another Canuck here. There are quite a few of us.

It was 18 degrees C here yesterday, and it's sitting at about 10 right now (8 a.m.) Rain later today. We'll be back to seasonal temps on the weekend.

I'm off to a stitch weekend on Friday where 12 members of our guild go away to a church retreat centre, and just stitch all weekend. Because it is early in the season, the centre uses it as a 'warm-up' weekend for staff. Just our group, and a group of quilters are there.

I'm working on a Moira Blackburn sampler which I started a couple of years ago, plus a couple of mini bargello stockings ornaments. I'm going to throw in a few other things so if I get stymied or tired of stitching something, I can switch.

The nice thing is that you can stitch with no interruptions, go for a walk or just veg if you feel like it- no kids, no hubbys, no housework.

Laura, my face still turns red when I remember my posting error! Don't worry about it.
