The mayor has declared a state of emergency - should have done it days ago. He would have got more help but things are settling down. It's freezing rain at the moment. We are dry for the time being. River is expected to hit 21 feet above normal which will make it the worst in 180 years so sayeth the papers. If any of the sand bag dikes fail there will be a few hundred homes flooded plus the flooded streets will pose real traffic problems. I have enough raw material to last a few weeks but common sense rules so we are shutting down for a few days and moving all the valuable stuff to the top of work benches. Can always use the time off to concentrate on Casey's training. IIRC it is also TAX time!!! Grrrrrr.
Marjorie has had both knees replaced and is moving around a little slower than usual. I had lower jaw reconstructed a few days ago - not too chipper but not down and out.
Thankx for the concern,
Fred

Hey, I don't suppose Canada Revenue will accept as an excuse for late filing that you had to use your tax files to bolster the sandbags??? Keep dry Fred, we are thinking about you, Marjorie and the pup.

There's always a possibility...they gave the people in Fargo an extra month to file without penalty. If no one's mentioned it, it wouldn't hurt to ask!!!
