So cute. Makes me think twice before I call someone a bird brain.

Had to laugh but I didn't the time I was bbq ing some chicken pieces and I knew a sea gull was sat on the dock watching me but I didn't think much about it - until he flew in - grabbed a piece, flew off, dunked it in the salt water and then started destroying it.

It never crossed my mind a bird would fly in like that over heat, but he had clearly done it before and had the technique off perfectly.

You know what they say about sea gulls around these parts ? If they're not squawking, they're s*****ng and that pretty much describes them. Mustn't harm them though as they are also said to be the souls of sailors who died at sea.

My BIL called them rats with wings.... They certainly not "bird brains". C

A very apt description. They will also work in concert with crows, I have frequently observed that.
