Please, help me to calculate, how many bricks does it take to build an average woodfire kiln? Have to make some sense about my future expenses.

follow thePWF links to the last page. The bricks are 9 X 4.5 X 3 inches in size,single layer, dry laid. The pictures are clear enough for you to countthem! The kiln is approximately 12 cu. ft. capacity, can be fired by oneperson at a pinch, tho' two makes it easier, cone 12 in a day with anovernight warm up. Great fun.Steve Bath UK
