Embroidery Design Housekeeping

Happy New Year from Arizona! We are very pleased to announce that Clayton has finished his Embroidery software, which he calls the Embroidery Deduper=A9.

Briefly, about eighteen months ago I was sitting at my computer complaining about not being able to find a certain design in my files. There were so many "extra duplicates" it seemed to be taking me forever!

Since Clay is a highly skilled computer engineer, I begged him to write some software for me. Since my machines only need one format of the design, all the other formats were just taking up space. Also, it seemed when I converted the designs I would end up with _1, _2 after the name of the design, giving me yet more duplicates! My hard drive was filling up fast!

Clay agreed to work on this in his spare time, so after work and weekends he began writing his Embroidery Deduper=A9 program (called that because it eliminates the duplicates). This software has far exceeded my initial request, as it automatically extracts zip and RAR files. Any designs I now download, can be stored in one folder, "deduped" and then sorted within minutes. My life in embroidery has become so much easier.

He has since copyrighted his software and is making it available to others at

. At a very low price, everyone can take advantage and maybe clear up hard drive space while you are at it. This may be the best present you give yourself!

We hope you will be very pleased and look forward to answering any questions you may have.

Hugs,

Pat
