Fuzzy caterpillar- Attn: Polly

I didn't want this to get lost in the other thread.

Cut three bias strips at 1/2 in. X 4 inches. Layer the strips on top of each other. Using heavy thread, gather by hand sewing down the middle- lengthwise- allowing the strips to twist as you go. At the end, pull the thread tight and knot off. Spread the fabric layers apart, twisting and shredding the edges with your fingers as you go. If you layer different color fabrics, the caterpiller will have stripes! Fun!

I was just going to do the standard chenille routine but yours sounds like so much more fun. DD used to be so charmed by black fuzzy caterpillars that had orange stripes. I think I'll try one. Thank you kindly. Polly
