Excellent Miss Spunky Lady! I love the fabrics you chose for the organizer bag; and the walker tote would certainly cheer up anyone using a walker. Bad luck about the machine seizing up on you. But, you had your little back-up! Please, please use 'Spunky Lady' as your designer name. It is so perfect. . In message , Leslie & The Furbabies in MO. writes

That is a great bag, Leslie! I can see it being very easy to use and it's good-looking too!

That is lovely Leslie, really elegant, and the walker one would be very useful.

Hope your 6600 is better soon.

They look great Leslie! And I think Spunky Lady is a name that will work wonderfully too. The handles look like a good length. I like to have a bag over my shoulder. In fact I've started to look for single long handles to wear across my chest so my hands are free. I'm just not a "hand" bag person....the short handled bags to wear over an arm just don't work for me. I really like your fabrics in your prototype. That should be a good seller. Congratulations on getting this done so quickly. I'd probably have to think about it for several months, then sew on it for several more before hitting on something workable. You did it in hours.

Don't they always act up right when you most need them! All machines, not just sewing machines. Leslie, you do such beautiful work! Roberta in D

My feelings exactly. I have both machines, but have grown to not enjoy a foot pedal.

WOW!

What a great bag. I love it. If you are making them for sale, may I be your first customer? Or are you selling the pattern as well?

Seriously, it looks amazing, and just about perfect! And, spunky lady is a great name to use for a company.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Leslie, i gotta say i am just 120% impressed with how quickly you got these made up and really really love the name. Spunky Lady. appeals to the young and old alike, imo. i reckon ya need some labels printed up to put on each one somewhere. maybe even visible like they do on levi jeans and various other brands. how about getting a trademark on the name too so no one steals it. i'm quite serious. not sure what that costs but i for one think you could make a great business out of this. there is no way that walker bag will ever be mistaken by someone else. love the bright fabric on it. the organizer looks like it could be used inside out if ya wanted to. i think you got the choice of fabrics on that one perfect too. one subtle and one with a bit of colour but the bag is still not gonna smack up side the head, it still goes with most outfits. i've not read anyone elses replys yet, heck i just got online and first read your post, then went to see your bags and i'm gobsmacked, ok, so i am talk'n up a storm, how is that gobsmacked i hear someone mutter but seriously. i do think you should seriously consider making more of these and run up a few more designs and take them around some shops to sell on consignment. see how that goes and if it looks profitable. i'm sure your on to something good here. almost every woman carrys a bag around. we need one for all our 'stuff' doncha know. wooooooooohooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you go girl, you've got the talent and the knack to make this work into a known brand name. well done you!!! jeanne

Well, I haven't put the velcro on yet, but yes. The two flaps going towards the back of the walker wrap around the bar and will be attached with velcro..... maybe tomorrow? LOL They are pinned on right now and I didn't do a good job so the right hand one looks weird and distorts the flap on the covered pocket.

I love the bags, Leslie! They are all very practical at the same time as very stylish. What more could any spunky lady ask? I can't believe you made them all so quickly though. Wow!

Sorry about your 6600. It should have handled them with no worries at all. What did the service people have to say?

The same thing that they always say- it's working just fine! (mumble, grumble) I even took in a sample of the stitching but he sewed on the same fabric with no problem. So, he cleaned it and sent it back home and it made another bag, so I guess it's okay.

Glad you like the bags- I think I'm addicted to making them!
